P-2 Category (Artist in Reciprocal Exchange Program)
Who can apply?
An Indian artist or entertainer who wishes to perform individually or as part of a group, or to perform as an integral part of the performance of the team

An Indian artist who wishes to perform under a reciprocal exchange program which is between.

An organization in US and an organization in India and such an organization must provide for the temporary exchange of artists and entertainers or groups of artists and entertainers.

Requirements for petition under reciprocal exchange program
The petition must include

(1) A copy of the Reciprocal Exchange Agreement between the sponsoring US organization and the organization in India which will receive the US artist

(2) A letter from sponsoring organization detailing the reciprocal exchange of US artists as it relates to the specific petition for which P-2 classification is being sought

(3) Documentary proof showing the involvement of an appropriate Labor Organization in US was involved in negotiating, or has concurred with, the reciprocal exchange of US and Indian artist and

(4) Documentary proof showing that the Indian artist and the US artist for whom the visa is being sought are subject to the reciprocal exchange agreement and are with comparable skills, and the terms and conditions of employment are, similar.
