Where to Apply for Visa
1. The British High Commission at New Delhi covers the States of Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal besides Delhi. Applicants residing in these. States may apply at any of the following centers, but visa will be issued from New Delhi.

Applicant may apply online at http://www.vfsinel.com/VAF/ welcome.aspx or take the application in person to :
. a visa-application centres (VFS) or
. through a representative or travel agent
In case making an application through a representative or travel agent, applicant must give a letter, signed by the applicant, permitting to:
. apply for a visa on his/her behalf and
. collect any papers that the applicant have sent to support the application if that is what the applicant want.
The staff of the VFS centres across India will accept the applications and explain the latest visa rules. VFS will than send the applications to the appropriate visa department.
