Visa Fees
. Fees are subject to periodic review. They are charged to cover the cost of application. If an application is refused, the fee is not refundable.
. The dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant.
An official receipt must be obtained for all payments made.
Fee in Indian Rupees is calculated as per consular rate of exchange of £1 = Rs. 90 (as on 27 June 2006).

Visa for any other purpose (includes employment, HSMP, UK ancestry) and Certificate Of Entitlement	7650/-
Settlement, Marriage	23400/-
Entry clearance for a Commonwealth country or an Overseas Territory	2700/-
Overseas Territory telex fee	1000/-
Call out fee (per hour)	7650/-

Note: Visa fees should be paid only by bank draft drawn in favour of:
If applying in Northern India - 'British High Commission'. If applying in Western India - 'British Deputy High Commission - Mumbai'.
If applying in Southern India - 'British Deputy High Commission - Chennai'.
If applying in Eastern India - 'British Deputy High Commission - Kolkata'.
An additional handling charge of Rs 455 per application will be levied by VFS.
