For applicants Visiting relatives or friends.
(a) Applicant must have a relative or a friend in UK.
(b) Applicant must leave UK at the end of the visit.
(c) Applicant must have sufficient funds to support himself and live in the UK without working or having recourse to the public funds.
(d) If visit is for a holiday, applicant must produce a sponsorship letter explaining the relationship with the sponsor and reason of visit.
(e) If visit is for a special family occasion (wedding, birthday, anniversary etc), applicant must produce invitation giving details of the occasion, when and where it is taking place and sponsorship letter.
(f) If visit is for a special occasion and the applicant is not a close relative to the family, but one of several people invited for the occasion, applicant must be able to produce acceptable reasons of attending the occasion.
