	Tourist Visa Who can Apply? Persons visiting Switzerland for the purpose of site seeing / tourism. No visa is required for: Holders of a valid permanent residence permit of an EU or an EFT A country. Holders of a US green card. Holders of a valid permanent residence permit of Canada, Androrra, Monaco and San Marino for stay not exceeding 3 months.
Documents Required Completed application form. Valid passport Valid for at least 3 months after the visa expiry. Having undamaged blank pages for visa sticker. Previous passport (if any). Photocopy of first and last page of the valid passport. Latest passport size photo. Evidence regarding payment of required visa fees. Return air ticket confirmed / confirmation of reservation (original & copy). Proof of sufficient funds. Accommodation proof in Switzerland (Hotel booking confirmation, bookings of the entire stay, receipt of paid package tour). In case the applicant has been refused visa by any Embassy in the past 5 years Explanation in writing giving purpose of that trip and the reason for refusal.
If sponsored: An invitation by the host in Switzerland mentioning the applicants name, duration and guarantee of expenses along with copy of his Swiss passport or residence permit. A copy of all these documents should also be sent directly by the host in Switzerland to the Embassy by fax. If employed: No Objection Certificate from employer. Pay slips. Latest IT Return. Original Bank Pass Book. Bank Statements of the past 3 months. If self employed:
Company Registration Certificate. Partnership Deed (if any). Income Tax returns. Bank Pass Book. Bank Statement of the past 3 months.
	Note: Applicant may be requested for additional documents and, a personal interview and those above 60 years are also required an International Medical Insurance.
