	General Information for all Applicants Interviews are scheduled and have to be arranged in advance. Visa fees is same for adults and minors.
Children under the age of 18 traveling without their parents require authorization letter signed by both parents / guardians permitting them to travel alone. Persons above the age of 60 years require Travel Insurance covering international medical plan. The Embassy at New Delhi does not accept visa applications by post but the same is accepted at Mumbai with additional fees of Rs. 150/- per passport.
Applicable visa fee is payable in cash and is non-refundable. Visa is generally valid for not more than 3 months. Persons proposed to stay for more than 3 months should apply for a stay permit. Application forms can be obtained from the Embassy counter or downloaded from the official site. (See Annexure SWISS-I).
