1. Airport Transit Visa
Who can Apply?
Indian nationals do not need an airport transit visa if: They hold diplomatic / official passports.

They have valid Indian passport & valid Visa / residence permit for Andorra, Canada; United States of America, Monaco, San Marino or a member state of the European Union or an EFT A country.

They do not want to leave the transit area.

Continue onward journey within 48 hours.

They have a valid Air Ticket to the destination.

They have the required documents to enter the destination country.

They have made relevant reservations before arriving to Switzerland.

Persons not satisfying above criteria shall be required to obtain airport transit visa.

Documents Required
Completed application form (see Annexure SWISS-I).
Valid Passport, with validity of at least 3 months.
1 recent passport photograph (including that for accompanying children below 14 years.

Travel documents and visa allowing onward journey and entry to the destination country together with an air travel ticket valid for that destination.
