Who can Apply?
Persons who have been offered a job in an organisation in South Africa in pursuance to an advertisement in the local newspaper of South Africa.

Conditions
. Applicant must posses a valid employment offer from an organisation in South Africa.
. Intention of the applicant should seriously and meaningfully contribute to the South African economy.
. Applicants interested in investing their assets, skills, knowledge, experience transfer and development of the people of South Africa can only obtain this visa.

. Post for which the applicant has been appointed must have been advertised in the following local newspapers of South Africa prior to the applicant's appointment (at least 30 days prior to appointment):­
1. The Sowetan.
2. Mail & Guardian.
3. Sunday World.
4. City Press.
5. Rapport.
6. Sunday Times.
7. Sunday Independent.
8. Sunday Tribune.
Advertisements on Internet are not acceptable,

 

Documents Required
. Valid passport (with at least 1 year validity).
. Latest passport size photos - 2 copies (not older than 6 months).
. Duly completed Forms (See Annxure SA-II) :­
1. Form BI-159 A (Application for temporary residence in South Africa)
2. Form BI-159 C (Application for Work Permit).
3. Form BI-811(Medical Certificate).
4. Radiological Report.
. If divorced by court order or legally separated:
- Proof of maintenance paid to family members.
. If married - Marriage certificate.
. If married and having children - Birth certificate of children.
. Proof of employment offer.
.Copy of the job contract detailing:
Post offered.
Job description.

Maximum duration of the job.
Salary offered.
Proof of qualifications:
Certificates starting from Secondary/High school.
Certified copy of the certificate of the highest education. In case of technicians and engineers the certificates to be evaluated by the Human Sciences Research Council.
Certificates in local language should be supported with their English translation.
If already working or worked earlier:
- Experience certificates of the previous employers detailing inter alia, applicant's competence and skills. Applicant's detailed bio-data.
Letter from the South African employer on letterhead: With affixed clippings of the newspapers relative to the specific position.
Details regarding actions taken to fill-up the post. Number of applications received from South African citizens and permanent residents.
Reason for not selecting them for that post.

If applicant is 18 years of age or older:
Police Clearance Certificate from all of the countries where the applicant has resided for 12 months or longer.
Proof of registration with South African professional body (if applicable). .
Proof of available funds in foreign exchange.
Proof of deposit of processing fees.
Refundable cash deposit or non-negotiable bank guarantee (sufficient to cover repatriation cost if necessary).
Notes:
1. Points 5 to 9 in the application form No. BI-159C should be filled in by the prospective employer.
2. Processing fee is non-refundable.
3. Holders of work permit can reside in South Africa only for a maximum period of 3 years.
4. Processing fee must be paid in equivalent INR's.
