Who can Apply?
This visa is issued to an applicant whose child (above 21 years) is either a SC or a SPR. The condition for this visa is that the child must sponsor the parent/ s.

Documents Required
Duly completed and signed application Form 14 (See Annexure Singapore-II) by each applicant.

Duly completed and signed Form V-39 A (LOI) (See Annexure Singapore-V) by each applicant including children.

1 passport size color photograph affixed on Form 14.

A valid passport of the applicant.

Photocopies of bio-data page, endorsement pages and last 3 pages of the applicant's passport.

Photocopy of the local contact's Singapore Identity Card. Birth certificate of the applicant - original and a copy.

Marriage certificate of the sponsor parent - original and a copy.

If the sponsor is divorced: Divorce certificate and custody papers - original and a copy.

If the sponsor is widowed: Spouse's death certificate original and a copy.

Identity card of the parents - original and a copy.

In case only one of the parents is a SC/SPR:

Sponsor's Income tax Notice of Assessment for the last 3 years - original and a copy.

Sponsor's contributory provident fund statement on monthly basis for the last 3 months - original and a copy. When sponsor is employed - letter from the employer showing the date of employment, designation and salary of the sponsor - original and a copy.

When sponsor is self-employed - a valid registration certificate from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority - original and a copy.

Sponsor's highest educational certificate - original and a copy.

Any other document as deemed fit by the authorities.

Note: The applicant's parent must sponsor the applicant. Original supporting documents will be returned immediately after checking at the submission counter.

Visa processing time is 3 working days.
