Who can Apply?
This visa is issued to the mother or grandmother applicants whose children/ grandchildren are studying in Singapore. The purpose of this visa is that a mother/ grandmother can accompany her children studying in Singapore. In case a mother has been granted the visa, then the grandmother becomes ineligible and vice-versa.

Documents Required
Duly completed and signed application Form 14 (See Annexure Singapore-II) by each applicant.

Duly completed and signed Form V-39 A (LOI) (See Annexure Singapore-V) by each applicant including children.
1 passport size color photograph affixed on Form 14.

A valid passport of the applicant.

Photocopies of bio-data page, endorsement pages and last 3 pages of the applicant's passport.

Photocopy of the local contact's Singapore Identity Card.

When the applicant is a grandmother:

Grandchild's and his/her parent's birth certificates original and a copy.

Grandchild's passport

Grandchild's Student Pass and Disembarkation/ Embarkation Card.

When the applicant is a mother:

Child's birth certificate - original and a copy.

Child's passport

Child's Student Pass and Disembarkation/ Embarkation Card.

Applicant might be asked to provide proof of sufficient funds for stay in Singapore.

Any other document as deemed fit by the authorities.

Original supporting documents will be returned immediately after checking at the submission counter.

Visa processing time is 3 working days.
