Important Information for All Applicants
Visitors should not overstay the time granted on the visa.
. Visa extensions can only be obtained by the sponsor.
Visitors to Saudi Arabia must abide by the country's Islamic laws and regulations and respect its society's values and traditions.
The Saudi Arabia laws against drug and trafficking are strictly enforced. Violators are subject to severe punishment, which may include death penalty.

Validity of visa starts from the date of issue.
Period of stay begins upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia does not issue any Tourist Visa.
Forbidden items include alcohol, narcotics, weapons, ammunition, pork and pornography.
Prescription drugs must be documented.
Makkah and Madinah hold special religious significance and only persons of the Islamic faith are allowed entry.
Applicants are hereby kept informed that the details of their visa as soon as issued by any Saudi Mission, is informed to every entry port in the kingdom (Airport/land and Seaport).
The Saudi authorities will deport the persons whose information is not available at that entry point.

Children below the age of 15 should attach certificate for immunization against polio and dose should have been given six weeks before the date of departure to Saudi.
. Requirements and fees are subject to change without notice. Hajj and Umrah Visa:
A hajj visa is one that is issued to a Muslim wishing to take part in the Hajj, which occurs during the first half of the twelfth Islamic month. Hajj visas are issued according to a quota system - one for every 100 Muslims in a country's population. Generally, it is very difficult - not to say impossible - to get a hajj visa outside one's home country.
An Umrah visa is issued to any Muslim who wishes to visit and pray in the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah. The umrah visa application must be made from India.
If the applicant does not have a Muslim name, he/she will be asked to provide an official document listing Islam as his/her religion. Converts must provide documentary evidence of their conversion from a mosque.
