Who can apply?
This visa is a pilgrimage visa and issued to applicants proceeding to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of Umrah. Applications under this category are received only during the Umrah season.

Documents Required
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant.
Passport valid for minimum 6 months at the time of application.

2 coloured passport size photographs, with white background: one affixed on the application form and the other attached by a paper clip.
Air ticket confirmed for onward/return journey.
Original traveler's cheques valuing minimum US $500
Certificate of vaccination against meningitis and cholera
Notes:
1. Each applicant for an Umrah visa must apply through an approved Umrah Tour operator who has signed a contract with a Saudi company/establishment to provide Umrah visa services.
2. A minimum of 24 hours is required to process the visa.
3. An Umrah Visa is valid for a week and only for travel to Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah and on the roads linking them. If travel is to be completed by road, one is allowed to travel from the land borders where he/ she enters the kingdom to the holy cities.
4. Visa is issued for a stay of 15 days. The length of stay will depend on the duration of the Umrah program chosen by the applicant.
5. Umrah visa does not grant to the applicant the right to work or to reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

6. The Mahram should write on the application form complete information about his spouse and children or any relative with whom he is travelling. He should also provide copies of marriage or birth certificates.
7. All ladies are required to travel for Umrah with a Mahram. Proof of kinship must be submitted with the application form. Any lady over the age of forty-five (45) may travel without a Mahram with an organized group, provided she submits a letter of no objection from her husband, son or brother authorizing her to travel for Umrah with the named group. This letter should be notarized.
8. No applicant under the legal age of eighteen (18) will be granted a visa if not accompanied by his family.
9. If the applicant has converted to Islam, an Islamic certificate must be presented; this needs to be notarized by an Islamic Center.
10. Applicants are advised to carry the vaccination certificate to Saudi Arabia for inspection by the Saudi Arabian Passport Authority, if required.
11. Visa is Gratis.
