Who can apply?

Business visas are issued to businessmen, investors, representatives of Indian companies, managers, sales managers, sales representatives, accountants, production managers, administrative managers, consultants etc.
With the Visa number in hand, an applicant can got the embassy BUT as visas are issued only by number and not by name, if one has no number, there is absolutely no point in going to the embassy.
No number, no visa, the rule is simple and is applied to all applicants. If, on the other hand, the applicant is at the embassy in the morning with his number, hef she can usually collect the visa in the afternoon.

Documents Required
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant. See Annexure Saudi-I.
Passport valid for minimum 6 months at the time of application.
2 coloured passport size photographs, with white background: one affixed on the application form and the other attached by a paper clip.

Applicants applying from Delhi should provide a recommendation letter from chamber of commerce.
Letter from Indian company addressed to the head of Consular section.
Applicants applying from Mumbai should provide a recommendation letter from Indian Merchant Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai.
A letter addressed to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Delhi/Mumbai from the Indian company containing:
The name of the company.
Type of business the company is engaged.
Name and position of the applicant
Details with address of the business associates in Saudi Arabia
The purpose and requested duration of stay in Saudi Arabia.
Visa slip copy arranged by sponsor in Saudi Arabia.
Copy of CR from South Company

Notes:
1. A minimum of 48 hours is required to process the visa.
2. Validity of visa is 60 days.
3. Stay period is 15 days extendable by two weeks.
4. Business visa does not grant to the applicant the right to work or to reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5. A visitor's/Business visa, is obtained upon a formal invitation from the company or individual sponsorring the applicant. The invitation will include a visa number and it is primarily a statement that the sponsor has obtained a visa for the visitor and that authority to issue the visa has been sent to the appropriate Saudi Embassy.
