Resident and Work Permit in Norway
To obtain a work permit in Norway the prospective employee must have a concrete job offer. Work permit allows a person to stay and work in Norway.
If an applicant qualifies as a skilled worker/specialist, he may obtain a visa provided he has an offer of employment in Norway, or wish to seek work there. The requirements for such a visa depend on whether or not he has an offer of employment.
If the applicant has an offer of employment, he may obtain a visa if he has training equivalent to at least the level of further education.
If there is an offer of employment in Norway, the following expertise may be taken into consideration instead of formal training:
. Course or other training in a company in India.

Rs. 5300/-(*) No Fee if the applicant is less than 18 years.

One year initially
(*) Fee must be paid by Demand Draft in favor of Royal Norwegian Embassy.

In order to obtain a visa, the training must provide the same level of expertise as formal vocational training, and the expertise must be relevant to the work the applicant will be taking on
. Specialist qualifications based on practical experience in a particular field. In order to obtain a visa, the practical experience must be at least as long as any formal vocational training which gives the same expertise, and the expertise must be relevant to the work the applicant will be taking on.
