Payment of fees
The applicant has to pay in advance a non-refundable fee of Euro 26.25 (subject to change) per document for the purpose of legalization.
- For the Royal Netherlands embassy in New Delhi:
In India the equivalent (subject to rate of exchange) is to be paid in Indian Rupees by demand draft in favour of the Royal Netherlands Embassy, New Delhi.
In the Netherlands this amount in Euros can be remitted to the embassy's bank account no. 65.63.44.954 in the name of "Royal Netherlands Embassy New Delhi".

The name of the applicant and the date of birth should be mentioned. As proof of this payment, copy of the bank statement that shows the payment as well as the applicant's name and date of birth can be faxed to the embassy.

For the consulate general of the Netherlands in Mumbai:
In India the equivalent (subject to rate of exchange) can be paid in Indian Rupees in cash (exact amount). In the Netherlands this amount in Euros can be remitted to the consulate general's bank account no. 67.02.61.173 in the name of the "Consulate General Mumbai". The name of the applicant and the date of birth should be mentioned. As proof of this payment, copy of the bank statement that shows the payment as well as the applicant's name and date of birth can be faxed to the consulate general.

Applicants are advised to contact the embassy / consulate general for inquiries about the exact amount payable in Rupees.

Note: In case where an intermediary is submitting the documents, he / she is required to carry a letter of authorization along with a photocopy of the applicant's and the intermediary's photo-identity card.
Submission of documents is only possible with prior appointment.
