Long-stay Visas
This category relates to applicants who want to stay in Netherlands for more than 90 days. This is also called as in authorization for temporary stay (MVV). MVV can be applied in two ways.
1. Applicant himself/herself apply for an MVV* in India OR
2. The sponsor in Netherlands applies for recommendation on an authorization for temporary stay for the applicant through submitting a request for an advice to the IND.

Upon approval from the IND, applicant may travel to the Netherlands by using this MVV. As soon as the applicant arrives in the Netherlands he/ she must first report to the Alliens police. Thereafter applicant must apply to the municipality for a temporary residence permit.

Documents to be attached by the applicant with his/her application after getting approval for MVV are:
Duly completed and signed application Form (as per annexure Holland-I).
2 (two) recent passport size photographs.
Photocopy of the applicant's valid passport.
Legalised birth certificate.

In case of a minor:
Written consent from the parents with their signatures on the application form.
Photocopy of the passport of the parent/s.
Documents and conditions referred against each category below relates to application for MVV whether applied in India or at Netherlands. The form displayed at Annexure-C is a request for recommendation on an authorization for temporary stay (MVV) to be executed by the person staying at the Netherlands.
