Who can Apply?
This visa is issued to the applicant who is engaged in research work under a contract with the Government of Japan, or a corporation established by law or a corporation designated by the Ministry of Justice and is managed by a fund allotted by the Government of Japan.

Additional Documents Required
1. Documents showing the complete details of the recipient organization.
2. Applicant’s educational certificates, past record and any other related documents to prove the career of the applicant.
3. Documents certifying the activities of the applicant, its duration, position and remuneration.

Activities authorized to be engaged in
Activities to engage in examinations, surveys, research, etc. on the basic of a contract with a public or private organization in Japan. Applicants must fulfill certain conditions concerning personal history and work status.
