Who can Apply?
This visa is issued to the prospective visa applicants, who intend to engage in academic or artistic activities, or would like to engage themselves in specific studies of Japanese culture or arts.

2. If the applicant intends to learn Japanese culture / arts under the guidance of an expert:
- Additional documents showing the career and the achievements of the expert.
- All documents as mentioned above.
Note:- Applicant is not permitted to work during the entire stay in Japan.

Activities authorized to be engaged in
Academic or artistic activities that provide no income, activities for the purpose of pursuing specific studies on Japanese culture or arts, or activities for the purpose of learning and acquiring skills in Japanese culture or arts under the guidance of experts (for example jkebana,  tea ceremony, judo, etc.)
