Documents Required
Fully completed and signed Visa Application form (in duplicate). See Annexure Ireland-I
Two passport size photographs.
Required visa application fee.
Two clear copies of ALL pages of the applicant's passport OR if the applicant holds a valid UK or Schengen visa, the original passport may be submitted.

Enclose originals and one photocopy of are the documents.
If intend to stay in hotel:
Confirmation of hotel booking.
Full itinerary of the trip, including the date of leaving India, and the countries proposed to visit prior and offer Ireland.
If staying with a reference:
Letter of invitation from the reference in Ireland confirming to provide with accommodation during the stay.
A full legible copy of the passport of the reference in Ireland with whom the applicant proposes to stay.
A written undertaking from the applicant and the reference that both will observe the conditions of visa, that the applicant will not become a burden on the State, and that the applicant will leave the State on the expiration of visa.

Details as to how the applicant is known or related to the reference, and supporting evidence to this.
If the reference is not an Irish citizen, evidence of his/her permission to remain in Ireland such as, copy of GNIB card and copy of the reference passport showing immigration stamps.
Evidence of sufficient funds of the applicant to maintain himself during the stay:
A detailed bank statement covering a three months period immediately prior to the visa application, and showing sufficient funds to cover all costs required.
If the reference in Ireland is supporting the applicant:
A detailed bank statement of the reference covering a three months period immediately prior to the visa application, and showing sufficient funds to cover all costs required. Evidence of obligations to return to your country of permanent residence i.e. India following this visit, such as:
If employed:

Letter from employer showing the duration of employment, dates of starting and ending of the leave period.
If Student:
Letter from the college outlining the course of study, the no. of years the applicant is studying in that college/ course, duration still left to complete the study and that the applicant intends to return and continue with his/her study.
Note: If the applicant own a property, or rent accommodation, evidence of this can also be submitted in support of the obligation to return back to India.

Details of family members residing in India.
If married and or having minor children who are not accompanied with the applicant:
Marriage and/ or birth certificates..
If visiting another EU member state prior to traveling to Ireland, the relevant visa for that country should be obtained before applying for a visa to Ireland.
Group tours should submit tour itinerary and hotel booking receipts.

Notes:
1. It is advisable that the applicant have a medical/ travel insurance to covering entire duration of visit.
2. All letters submitted should be on an official company headed paper giving complete contact details for verification purposes. These must include a full postal address, name of contact person, his/her position in the company, telephone number (landline) and email address where relevant. (Email addresses such as Yahoo or Hotmail are not accepted). Website address should also be included, if available.
