Additional Documents Required
Proof of transport arrangements (confirmed return ticket).
Documents to prove the circumstances of the planned stay e.g. hotel reservation/ staying with a private individual.
Covering letter of the applicant explaining the reason of visit, duration of his/her stay, sponsorship of air ticket/travel expenses (if any). If self-employed, business proof.
Applicant, who is under 18 years of age, if traveling alone or with one parent, must submit a 'No objection certificate' duly signed by the non-accompanying parent/ s and notarized.
Documents to prove that the applicant has sufficient means of subsistence, covering both the duration of the stay and the return journey. Such as:
Applicant's own financial means (e.g. cash, travelers cheques and credit cards accepted in Greece, foreign exchange endorsement on the passport, an employment contract (if employed), bank statements, proof of enrolment on the trade register (proof of business) and/or of professional activity, salary slips, IT returns, etc.
