Who can apply?
Aspiring married applicant who intends traveling Greece to join his/her spouse who is either a Belgium citizen or resides in Belgium.
Aspiring applicant who intends traveling Greece for the purpose of family reunification as a child/ grandchild of a Greek citizen, who resides in Greece, and the applicant is dependent on this parent/ grandparent.

Additional Documents Required
Approval documents from the Greece government (issued in Greece).
Family status certificate duly attested by the MEA in India.
Official copy of the applicant's marriage certificate duly
Proof of applicant's valid travel insurance policy, either individual or group, covering the cost of repatriation on medical grounds, urgent medical treatment and/ or urgent hospital treatment, transportation back to India if required for medical reasons.
Note: As a rule, applicant must take an international insurance policy in India. If the host takes an insurance policy for the applicant, the same must be done in his/her own country of residence. To find out which insurance policies are accepted, applicant is advised to contact the Greece embassy or consulate. The insurance must be valid throughout all of the Schengen countries and must cover the whole duration of the stay. The minimum cover is 30,000 euro.

Birth certificate of the applicant duly attested by the MEA in India. (only if the applicant is under 18 years of age)
Applicant's medical certificate obtained from the doctor designated by the Greece embassy or consulate, dated and not older than 6 months from the date of application duly attested by the MEA in India.
Police clearance certificate of the applicant duly attested by the MEA in India.
Marriage Certificate of the applicant (if applicable) duly attested by the MEA in India.
