Long Stay Visa for French Government Scholarships

Who can apply?
Students who have been granted a scholarship (bourse) by French Government.

Procedure
Completed application along with the required documents should be submitted in person at Consulate General de France, 31 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. Applicants who are unable to appear in person, should send their application with documents and a large pre-paid self-addressed registered envelope

Documents Required

.Application form duly filled and signed. See Annexure France-II. (For English translation of the application' see Annexure France-III).
Passport photograph.
1 check-list completed. See Annexure France-IV.

Original valid passport.
Evidence regarding French/ Australian scholarship -one photocopy.
Enrolment certificate in French university or an accredited college (with one photocopy).
Police clearance certificate from the country of residence of more than one year over the last ten years - Original.
If the time required for obtaining the clearance exceeds two months, produce the evidence of applying. Also submit a statutory declaration stating the conviction status of the applicant (if any) and the undertaking to provide the police clearance certificate when received.
Large self-addressed envelope Express Post or Registered Post.
Travel itinerary / Air Ticket - one photocopy.
Note: It is advised to apply well in time i.e. at least two months before traveling date.
