Visit / Business Visa
Who can Apply?
Business visas are generally issued to applicants who intend to visit China on business, invited by Chinese partner and trainees to stay in China for less than 6 months. This can include research, lecturers, scientific & technological exchanges.
Applicants holding original visa notification letter from Provincial Authorities in China, namely, Foreign Affairs Office / Foreign Economic Relations & Trade Commission, with a multiple entry visa notification may apply for multiple entry visa.

Additional Documents Required
(a) Letter of invitation from China:
For single-entry or two-entry business visa: An invitation letter from the Chinese Company.
For multiple-entry with validity of 6 / 12 months:
(i) notification of issuance of multiple F-visa by the relevant Chinese governmental department namely, Foreign Affairs Office or Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission; or

(ii) notification of issuance of multiple F-visa by the government-authorized company or organization; or
(iii) original business license or certificate issued to the applicant having some investment in China, by the Chinese Government; or
(iv) record of at least two entries with business visas in the past year; or
(v) a letter of introduction from applicant's company (to certify that he or she works in the company and need to enter into China frequently to do business for the company) and an invitation letter issued by the branch of that company in China.
(b) Covering letter addressed to the visa office from the applicant's company or office.

Extension of Business Visa
If an applicant enters into China on a business visa, and wants to stay in China for longer than the stay time limit or validity period specified on the current visa, or wants to re-enter into China for business reasons in the future, he can apply for a new" F " visa at Beijing Public Security Bureau. One can apply for a zero-entry, single entry, double entry with the validity of no longer than 6-months, or a multiple entry with the validity of 6 months or one year.

. One 2-inch photo.
. Original "Residence Registration Certificate".
. Application form.
. Application letter provided by Chinese host (Stamped with the seal of the sponsor).
. Business license of the Chinese sponsor (original & copy).
