Family reunification to join a spouse

Who can Apply?
Aspiring married applicant who intends travelling Belgium to join his/her spouse who’s either a Belgium citizen or resides in Belgium.

Documents Required
Two copies of duly completed and singed visa application Forms.
Two passport size photos of the applicant
Valid passport of the applicant with validity of at least 12 months.
Official copy of your marriage certificate
Official copy of birth certificate of the applicant (applicant must be above the age of 18)
Police clearance certificate of the applicant not older than 6 months covering the previous 5 years.
Official copy of the divorce ruling, divorce certificate or death certificate of the applicant’s previous spouse (if the applicant had been married before.)
. A copy of the Belgian identity card, confirmation of registration or residence permit of the applicant's spouse residing in Belgium or proof that applicant's spouse have been entered into the register of foreign nationals.

Note: If the spouse of the applicant was already authorised to stay in Belgium for longer than three months on a family reunification with another Indian, in principle the applicant does not qualify for a family reunification visa.
If another member of the applicant's family, for example a child, has already obtained a family reunification visa, applicant must exercise his/her right to family reunification before the end of the following calendar year.
