Business Services ( Advance Skill Course) is conducted under the aegis of NCVT. Commencement of course - January. Duration - 4 months.

Eligibility - The trainees should possess a Certificate for completion of a course in (1) Advance Skill training ate NVT /RVTI. Or (ii) Any other certificate recognised by State or Central Government or equivalent thereto. Or (iii) Diploma in Engg/Technology from State/Central Government in the trades of electronics, Computers, Hair & Skin Care, Dress Making, Embroidery and Secretarial Practice.

Objective of the course - The course aims at training the trainees who wish to gain skills necessary to set up and maintain profitable business venture using their own technical skill and/ or the skills of others. The trainees shall also complete a project parallel to the course that would take the form of submission to Government Department to attain funds or a personal policy for an organisation launching plan.

Age - 40 years as on date of commencement of the course. All candidates should be physically fit to undergo training.

Admission to the course shall be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in merit list drawn on the basis of the entrance test which shall consist of a written test and oral test. The weightate of marks to written and oral test shall be 80% and 20% respectively for drawing the final select list. This test shall assess the aptitude of the trainees towards self employment.
