Offers Tool & Die Making course (Regular). Duration - 4 years. Qualification - Candidate should have passed Matriculation (Secondary) or equivalent examination with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) with Mathematics and Science (Physics or Chemistry or both). Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination may also apply but they should submit proof of passing the examination by the date fixed by the authority. Age - 16-18 years (21 years for SC/ ST). Selection is done on the basis of Written Test and Interview.
Also offers (i) Tool & Die Making course (Evening). Duration - 4 years. Qualification - Candidate should have passed Matriculation (Secondary) or equivalent examination with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) with Mathematics and Science (Physics or Chemistry or both) or Trade course on Fitting/Turning/Milling/Grinding/Machinist/Tool & Die making of two years duration from recognised Industrial Training Institute or equivalent organisation. Age - 16-40 years (43 years for SC/ST). Note - This section includes courses for which the eligibility is 12th or 10th class and also for those who have already passed a certificate Course from an ITI or a diploma from a Polytechnic.
(ii) Certificate Course in CNC Machining. Eligibility - ITI Passed/ Final examination appeared in Turner/Miller/Machinist or equivalent trades. Duration - 24 weeks. Reservation - Seats are reserved for SC/ST/PH candidates as per the rules of the Centre. Special Opportunity for the handicapped - Training for the first five selected orthopedically handicapped candidates is sponsored and collaborated by National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped (NOH), B.T, Road, Kolkata. Last date: July.
	(iii) Vocational Courses in Fitting, Turning, Milling, Grinding. (Morning/Evening sessions). Eligibility - 10th class appeared.
