	ADVANCED TRAINING INSTITUTE (Ministry of Labour, D.G.E.&T) Vidyanagar, Hyderabad 500007 (Andhra Pradesh) offers Modular Pattern of Instructor Training in the following trades - 1. Wireman 2. Fitter 3. Machinist 4. Turner 5. Electrician Duration - 1 year.
Qualifications - Candidates who are matriculates and aged between 18 and 40 years and have passed a Diploma in Engineering or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the concerned trade or National Trade Certificate with 1 year practical experience in the concerned trade only need apply. Reservation - Seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes/PH candidates as per rules, subject to eligibility and availability of seats left after allotment to the Government/Private deputed candidates. SC/ST/PH candidates should enclose attested copy of the Caste Certificate / PH Certificate from competent authority.
Hostel Facilities - Moderate Hostel Accommodation is available at a nominal rent. No Hostel facilities are available for women candidates. Further details can be had from the office of the Director of the Institute. Also offers admission to following Modular Type of Courses in the following trades - 1. Engineering Technology - 3 months 2. Trading Methodology - 3 months 3. Trade Technology - 6 months (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician & Wireman) Notification - May. Last Date -June
Short-term technical courses under the Advanced Vocational Training System conducted from May to October are - 1. Computer Software. 2. Advanced Welding. 3. Electrical Maintenance. 4. Industrial Hydraulic & Pneumatic Controls. 5. Machine Tool Maintenance. 6. Metrology & Engineering Technology. 7. Induction to Engineering Technology.
	8. Heat Engines. 9. Industrial Electronic Maintenance. 10. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. 11. CAD/CAM/CNC (HI-TECH CENTRE) 12. Control Technology Entry Qualification For course No.1 - (i) 10+2; (ii) In addition to (i) Working knowledge of Personal Computer System. For Course Nos. 2 to 12 - (i) National Trade / apprenticeship Certificate under NCVT with 2/3 years Industrial Experience

(ii) Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Automobile) in relevant field from a recognized University/Board with 1 to 2 years experience.

Note - In all cases sponsored nominees are preferred. Qualification, however, is relaxable in case the nominee is sponsored directly by the Industry/Establishment provided he has experience in relevant field for which admission is sought. No age limit is prescribed but the participant should be physically fit. Further details can be had from DGE&T /Director of Institute.
