UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY, Private Bag-4800, Christchurch, New Zealand offers the following scholarships:1.University of Canterbury Scholarships. These cover the tuition fee plus a living allowance.
Eligibility: First-class honours undergraduate degree. 2. New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS) for international students wishing to undertake Ph.D. degrees by research at New Zealand universities. A warded on the basis of academic merit.
Value: covers full tuition fees; a living allowance ($1,500 per month); travel allowance (up to $2,000); health insurance allowance (up to $600); establishment allowance; book and thesis allowance. Tenure: 3 years of full-time study for PhD degree.

MASSEY UNIVERSITY, Palmerston North, New Zealand, offers Doctoral Scholarships in the form of partial tuition fees of the value of $12,000. Last date: 1st July/lst October.

UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO, PO Box 56, Dunedin, Tel: +64-3-479-8252 New Zealand, offers Postgraduate awards and scholarships of the value of$ 6,000 and tuition fee which is approx. 20% of the full fee.
Eligibility: International applicants interested in pursuing postgraduate study. Last date:1 st October.
