New Zealand Official Development Assistance (NZODA) offer NZODA Based on views of Lyn Sparks, Managing Director, Business Immigration N Z Ltd, Christ Church. New Zealand expressed 10 an interview Scholarships to Indians for pursuing postgraduate studies in areas of relevance to New Zealand.

In addition, Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship A wards are offered for pursuing advanced courses. To apply for these you have to get yourself enrolled with any of the Universities in New Zealand.

Commonwealth Scholarships
Scholarships are available to graduates of Commonwealth countries under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan. Commonwealth Scholarships in New Zealand are administered by the New Zealand Vice­-Chancellors' Committee (NVCC). Details are as follows: (1) Doctoral and Masters Scholarships of the value of $12,000 for Ph.D and $ 5,000 for Masters, are awarded on the basis of merit. (2) A wards for Masters and Ph.D are offered in Forestry, Accounts, Computers, Journalism, Business Management, Engineering, Science etc. (these may change from year to year). Eligibility: Master's Degree with 60% marks

Age: There is no age limit. The Candidate should (a) be an Indian national (b) have sufficient knowledge of English (c) 2 years teaching/research/ practical experience after obtaining Master's Degree. Value: (a) travel, living, and study expenses (b) approved medical expenses (c) monthly personal maintenance allowance (d) annual book allowance and Economy class air passage.

NEW ZEALAND VICE-CHANCELLORS' COMMITTEE, c/o Victoria University P.O Box 600, Wellington offers, William Georgetti Scholarships tenable at any university or other institution approved by the Scholarship Board in any field which in the opinion of the Scholarship Board is important to the social, cultural or economic development of New Zealand.

Eligibility: Qualified nationals of all countries between 21 and 28 holding a university degree. Candidates must have resided in New Zealand for at least five years immediately preceding the year of selection. Value: $4,800 if held as a supplement to a University Grants Committee Postgraduate scholarship; $4,000 if held in New Zealand; $6,000 if held overseas. When and whom to apply: By 1 October; to the Registrar of the New Zealand university concerned or to the Secretary at the above address. Details can be had from: www.nzvcc.ac.nz.
