Application procedures

(LLM & some Veterinary programmes)
The application procedures for the LLM programmes and for four Veterinary programmes differ from the standard procedures described below.

More information on the application procedure for-LLM programmes is available at www.law.uu.nl./llm. while the same for the Msc programmes in Animal Pathology, Laboratory Animal Sciences, Veterinary Anesthesiology and Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics is available at www.vet.uu.nl.

Application procedures
Students who wish to follow a Master's programme at Utrecht University must apply to the Admission Office of Utrecht University (addresses are given in the following pages). The application form and accompanying instructions can be downloaded from www.uu.nllinternationalmasters. Students holding a Dutch Bachelor's degree must apply directly to the Faculty offering the Master's programme in question.

Deadlines
There are different deadlines for application:
'Early bird' deadline:
For Students who wish to apply for scholarships elsewhere or need an early notification of admissions.

Main deadline:
For students from outside the Netherlands who need housing and a visa

Late deadline:
For students from Utrecht University, University College Utrecht, Roosevelt Academy, other Dutch universities or institutions for higher professional education (HBO), and for students with foreign qualifications who do not need housing and a visa, and/or do not with to apply for scholarships.

Closing dates to receive applications:
Master's programmes starting September 1
'Early bird' deadline: 1 December
Main deadline: March 1
Late deadline: April 15
Master's programmes starting February 1
Main deadline: September 1
Late deadline: October 15
