Subjects
It is not possible for BCD offices to conduct examinations in all 0 and A-level subjects. Candidates should therefore enquire from the respective centres to find out if the subjects they wish to take are offered especially if subjects involve practical examinations.
Grading system
For A-levels: A pass in an Advanced level subject in the London Examinations is indicated by one of the five grades: A, B, C, D, E, of which Grade A is the highest and Grade E is the lowest. Grade N indicates that the candidate's performance fell short of the standard required for Grade E by a narrow margin.
Performances below the standard of Grade N are unclassified (D), and will not be recorded on the certificate. The Cambridge International Examinations has a seven point grade scale A-G, with A as the highest and G the lowest.

O-level: The London Examinations award grades between A-E, of which Grade A is the Highest and Grade E is the lowest. Performances below the standard of Grade E is a fail, and are not recorded on the Certificate.
