Ph.D. studies - For Ph.D. studies, the Ph.D. Committee makes its decision on the basis of the information supplied by the applicant.

The applicant must satisfy the Committee that the work already done in undergraduate and, if applicable, graduate courses is comparable to that completed by a student at this University who has obtained a Master's degree and also has adequate research preparation.

For details on admission to a Ph.D. school, the relevant university should be contacted.

For university scholarships the student should write to Universities Scholarship Office requesting an application form. Competition is extremely keen and applicants must have exceptional academic records to be considered for these scholarships

Double degrees - Many Australian universities offer a comprehensive range of double or dual degree programmes. Students in these programmes study in two faculties and eventually graduate with two degrees (e.g. BE and BBA Or BA and LLB).

Double degrees generally take four years to complete and are extremely popular, as they enable students to obtain two qualifications for just one additional year of study.
