2. State level Scholarships @ Rs. 5400/- per annum each to regular bonafide student (up to 10+2) up to 18 years of age for sports achievements in recognised State level Competitions or in State School Games. Eligibility: Candidate should be a regular student of a recognised school up to 10 +2 standard. Age: Not more than 17 years as on the first day of the academic year (Extension in age is possible in special case upto19 years). Candidates who are full time employee in any organisation, those who have got any other sports scholarship or those who are covered under any residential sports coaching programme are not eligible to apply.
Sanction Procedure: Sanction Committee constituted by SAI shall consider all the applications on the basis of sports merits alone. No interview is conducted for final selection.
