Indian Mathematics Olympiad is organised by Mathematics Today Olympiad Committee. This countrywide Mathematics Olympiad is organised in two phases.
In the first phase, preliminary screening test of 25 objective questions are published in Mathematics Today. The final examination is conducted in select cities all over the country.
Top 100 successful candidates (based on minimum criteria) are eligible for merit scholarships for doing higher education in Mathematics/Physics/ Engineering. A running trophy is awarded to the school to which the top Olympian belongs.
