Programme in Biology Subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computer & Systems Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Science Education
Eligibility: (i) Biology: M.Sc., B.Tech. / B.E. or MBBS, Integrated Ph.D. Programme (ii) Computer System Sciences: B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Sc. (all relevant disciplines) degree holders or final year students with consistently strong academic record. (iii) Far others Subjects: M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Tech. degree holders or final year students with a consistently good academic record.Fresh B.Sc. graduates with an outstanding academic record Note: Candidates not holding a Master's degree and admitted to a Ph.D Programme can also receive an M.Sc. Degree on the way to their Ph.D on completion of prescribed requirements Selection Procedure: Selection to these courses (except Science Education) is based on a Written Test which is held at specified cities Last date: October Test: December
(2) Homi Bhabha Fellowships Eligibility: Candidate should have completed institutional or academic training and have successful experience / practice in their area of specialization. Age: Between 30-45 years. Duration: 1-2 years. Value: Rs.10000 - 12.000 p.m (3) Research Scholarships in Science Education Eligibility: Candidate should have a Master's degree in any of the following subjects: Biological Science Chemical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Statistics. Duration: 1 year (extendable for 5 years). Value: Rs.8000 p.m. and after registration for Ph.D Rs.9500 p.m. Contingency Grant: Rs.10000 p.a. Tuition grant: Rs. 4000 p.a.
