C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur, conducts an Eligibility Test for University/College Lectures The University Grants Commission, New Delhi has nominated C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur as an agency of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh to organise U.P. SLET exactly on the pattern of the U.G.C. NET

Subjects/areas of Arts & Humanities: English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Geography, History, Political Science, Education, Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology, Management, Library and Information Science, Law, Comq1erce, Home Science and Music. Science: Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Earth Sciences

(1) Candidates other than SC/ST category who have secured at least 55% marks (without grace) in Master's Degree are eligible for the test. For SC/ST category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without grace) in Master's Degree are eligible for the test

(2) Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing in the Qualifying Master Degree Examination may also apply for the test. The details of conditions of eligibility are given in the University Website www.kanpuruniversity.org

Syllabus: The course subjects in SLET are the same as that of the UGC NET. The syllabus is also available in the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in
