Eligibility: Master's degree in Biochemistry / biophysics / biotechnology / microbiology / chemistry / crystallography / physics (all with any two of physics / chemistry / mathematics at the Bachelor's level).

Fellowship and Hostel Accommodation: The fellowship is Rs.8000 p.m for the first two years and Rs.9,500 p.m., thereafter with a fixed book grant of Rs.3,000 after one year. Limited hostel accommodation is available. Medical benefits & HRA as per rules is admissible. First year of the research fellowship covers the Post M.5c. associateship course at the fundamental and advanced levels including laboratory sessions. Last date: April.
