Eligibility: First Class M.Sc. degree in Physics or BE/BTech in Engineering with a good Physics background. For LC synthesis M.Sc chemistry and for LCDs BE/B. Tech with specialisation in Electronics. Those completing their degree by August may also apply. Selected students will undergo intensive course work one year before registering for a Ph.D. degree. Value: Those selected are provided accommodation and receive stipends at par with UGC/CSIR scholarships
