Your Ad Here	National Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Govt. of India) Website: www.socialjustice.nic.in. offers financial assistance for pursuing Higher and Technical Education Eligibility: (1) Financial assistance is given to Indian students with a least 40% disabilities certifies as per definition under Persons with Disabilities ACT 1995 (2) Financial assistance is given for pursuing Post-Matric / Post-Secondary Technical and Professional courses including Ph.D. & M.Phil. from recognised institutions (3) Scholarship awarded is for pursuing only one course to one student
(4) Financial assistance can be given for computer with editing software for blind/ deaf Graduate and Postgraduate student for pursuing professional courses and for support access software for cerebral (5) Those students with disabilities who have passed matric secondary or any other higher examination from any recognised board/ university is eligible to assistance (6) Continuation / renewal of the award for next year depends on successfully completing the course in the preceding year with minimum 50% marks
(7) A scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other scholarship I stipend. If awarded any other scholarship I stipend, the student can exercised his/her option for choosing the scholarship that he / she proposed to avail and inform awarding authority about the same (8) Monthly Family Income of the beneficiary should not be more than RS. 15,000 from all sources. Family income will include income of the parent/guardian Course of Study: (1) Ph.D. M. Phil. and Postgraduate/Graduate Level courses in Engineering / Indian and other Systems of Medicine / Agriculture / Veterinary / IT / Biotechnology / Education Management / Architecture, Physiotherapy, Music and other professional courses (2) Diploma and Certificate level professional courses Last date: August.
