Your Ad Here	Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Teen Murti House New Delhi 110011 offers Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarships for Doctoral Studies to Indian Nationals for: (a) Ph.D. study in India, (b) Work/collection of material in other Asian countries for their Ph.D. study in India (ii) Nationals of other Asian countries for Ph.D. study in India Eligibility: Post-graduate degree in first division and full-time Ph.D. scholar (Part-time scholars for category (b) above are eligible to apply).
Candidates should be due to complete Ph.D. studies after December 31 of the year of award and registered for Ph.D. degree at an Indian University I Institution at the time of making the application for scholarship. Age: Minimum 35 years as on October 1 of the year of award Subjects: Science and Technology as an Integral Components of Economics and Social Activity Including the Philosophy of Science, Comparative studies in Religion and Culture, International Relations and Constitutional studies, Indian History, Civilisation and Culture, Interface of Social Change and Economic Development, Environmental Ecology and sustainable Development and Studies in the life and work of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Duration:.2-year
Value: For selected candidates in Categories (i) and (ill) includes Rs. 6,000/- p.m. as maintenance allowance, Rs. 10,000/- p.a. as contingency expenses including travel expenses and actual tuition fee for studies in India. In case of candidates in Category (ii), the scholarship will include adequate amount of maintenance allowance, actual fee or other charges and air fares for visit to the concerned Asian country and back Notification: April.
