(ii) For Ph.D Programme:
(a) Master's in Economics with 50% marks or in related discipline in development studies with 55 % marks and (b) M. Phil with FGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale or qualifying the NET of UGC/ICAR. The MPhil requirement can be waived for those with research experience and good calibre publications and / or level teaching experience and those who have qualified for UGC JRF in relevant discipline. University colleges teachers will be considered for salary protected fellowship scheme of the ICSSR

Value: M.Phil.: Rs.3000 per month. Ph.D: Rs. 6000 per month (ICSSR & Other schemes). UGC- JRF can be availed for both the programmes
