Eligibility:
The candidate should have an M.5c. degree with a minimum of 58% marks in any area of Biological sciences or in an area of physical sciences such as physics or chemistry and a consistent first class academic record from 10th standard to B.Sc. or have successfully qualified in the joint CSIR-UGC Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship. Those who are in M.Sc
IV-Semester are also eligible. Age: The upper age limit is 28 years as on the specified date of the year in which the fellowship is awarded (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST)

Value:
Stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month plus H.R.A. as admissible under Rules is paid (in case of non-allotment of residential hostel accommodation.
