Rajarshi Shahu Maharaji Gunavatta Scholarship:

Government of Maharashtra Social Justice and Special Assistance Department Directorate of Social Welfare Maharashtra State. 3 Church Road, Pune 411001 (Maha.) offers Rajarshi Shahu Maharaji Gunavatta Scholarship to100 students belonging to scheduled castes to undertake studies in renowned educational institutions in the country. The eligibility conditions are as under:

(i) Candidates should belong to scheduled caste community.
(ii) Be the permanent residents of Maharashtra.
(iii) Annual income of the parents of the student should not exceed Rs. 2.50 Lakhs.

(iv) The said scholarship is offered to the students belonging to scheduled castes who have already secured admission for:

(a) MBA through CAT at IIM-Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode (Kerala) or Indian Business School, Hyderabad or any A + B-schools as classified by the Business India or equivalent organization/ institution.
(b) Admissions secured through joint entrance examination to IIT at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorki or Kanpur.
(c) Admission secured at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore or Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, Rajasthan.
(d) Admission secured through all India entrance examination at Allahabad,Bhopal, Calicut, Hamidpur, Jaipur, Jallandhar, Kurukshetra , Nagpur, Rourkela, Warangal.

Application should be made in the prescribed form only, which are available free of cost. The application form is also available on government of Maharashtra's website: www.maharashtra.govt.in.
