National Scholarship Instituted By The University Grants Commission, offers 16 National Scholarships four in each of the Science Departments (Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) for M.Sc. degree at the Centre of Advanced Study in Physics/Chemistry/ Botany/Zoology of this University. At least 50% of these scholarships are awarded on merit to students coming from other Universities.

Eligibility: Candidates who have secured 60% or above marks in the last qualifying examination are eligible to take the Screening Test. Scholarships are awarded strictly in order of merit based on the performance of the candidates at the Screening Test. However no candidates are awarded Scholarships unless he/she has secured at least 40% marks in the Screening Test.
