Ministry of Human Resource Development: Department of Culture awards Fellowships to outstanding Artistes in the fields of Literature, Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, Folk, Traditional and Indigenous forms of Performing Arts. Under this Scheme, a total of 450 Fellowships are awarded each year for a period of two years, of which
(a) 150 are Senior Fellowships having a value of Rs 6000 per month for Artistes in the age group of 40 and above; and
(b) 300 are Junior Fellowships having a value of Rs. 3000 per month for the Artistes in the age group of 25 – 40.

(c) Selected candidates have to work on the Projects for which they are awarded Fellowships. They are to complete their Project Reports within two years and submit the same to the Department. No extension of time is permissible.
Last date: Applications in the prescribed formats are to be sent to the Section Officer, S&F Section, Room No. 333, 'C' Wing, Department of Culture, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi 110001 on or before mid May.
