Eligibility: (a) 10+2 or any other equivalent examination recognised by Punjab University. (b) 3 years experience by 30th June of the year in bedside or Public Health Nursing in a Hospital recognised by the State Govt./Govt. of India. (c) R.N. and R.M. as approved by INC or substitute registration in case of male candidates.
Selection is based on objective type test and interview is conducted at Chandigarh.

Eligibility: Candidates having 'A' grade nurse certificate and must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam and have a minimum of three years experience in bed side or Public Health Nursing.

Eligibility: A candidate must have passed higher secondary or senior secondary or intermediate (10+2) examination of an Indian university or an equivalent examination of any university recognised by the Institute for this purpose. He/She must have obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and be a 'A' Grade Nurse registered by the State Nurses Registration Council. In case of male nurse instead of training Midwifery, training any two subjects, out of the following is necessary:


(a) Venereal Disease Nursing, (b) Tuberculosis Nursing, (c) Ophthalmic Nursing, (d) Psychiatry Nursing and (e) Operation Theatre Techniques for a period of three months in each. He/She must have worked for at least three years as a Staff Nurse in a recognised Hospital or in Public Health Nursing field after obtaining the above mentioned certificates. Selection on merit in the qualifying and nursing exams, professional experience and Personal assessment. Test conducted in New Delhi. Notification: April/May. Last date: May.
