Eligibility: Inter or equivalent with Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Inter Vocational (Nursing) securing 45% (40% for SC/ST) aggregate marks. Candidates should be medically fit. Age: 17-25 years (3 years/relaxation or SC/ST) as on December 31 of the year of admission.

Domicile: Admission is restricted to the residents of the State. The following are also eligible (a) Candidates whose parents have resided in the State.

For a total period of ten years excluding periods of study / employment outside the State or (b) Candidates whose parents are in employment of the State or Central Govt., Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi-public institutions within the State and (c) Candidates who are spouses of the employees of the State or Central Govt, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi-public institutions within the State.

Reservation: SC 15% ST 6% BC 25% Govt of India nominees 1 seat. Local candidates 22 Seats AP, Medical and Health Services 3 Seats.
Selection on the basis of marks obtained in PCB at qualifying exam.
Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. Residence is optional.
