The library also maintains files on personalities in the performing arts, consisting of clippings from newspapers and periodicals.An adjunct to the library, the Listening Room, as it was earlier called, was redesigned and refurbished as an audio-visual library in 1993. The technical equipment was upgraded and the collection of audio and video-cassettes enlarged.The collection includes over 9,678 gramophone records, 1,301 pre-recorded audio-cassettes, 763 copies of audio-cassettes from the archives of the Akademi, 137 CDs and 72 video-cassettes.
