	SSC in Logistics Cadre of Executive Branch in Indian Navy Applications are invited from unmarried men an women who are Indian nationals to fill up the vacancies in the logistics cadre of executive branch as Short Service Commission officer in the Indian Navy. Education Qualification (a) A First class graduate in any of the following: (i) BCA/MCA (ii) Commerce; OR (b) First class BE/B Tech. in any of the following disciplines: (i) Mechanical (ii) Marine Engineering (iii) Electrical (iv) Electronics (v) Telecommunications (v) Instrumentation & Control (vii) Computer (viii) Information Technology. Age: 19-1/2 to 25 years
Physical Standards: (a) Height and weight: Minimum height for male 157 cms. Female 152 cms. with correlated weight. (b) Eye Sight: 6/36, 6/36 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. The candidate should not be colour/night blind. Selection Procedure(a) Short-listed candidates are likely to be called during April to January for Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews held at Bangalore, Bhopal or Coimbatore, followed by a medical examination. (b) The duration of SSB interview is 5 days during their stay at the SSB. Candidates are assessed in Psychological Tests, Individual Tasks, Group Tasks, GD and interview. (c) Those who are recommended by SSB, thereafter undergo a medical examination (d) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit are appointed for training in the order of merit depending on the number of vacancies only after verification of the original certificates.
