Air Traffic Control and Education Cadre

Opportunities are offered to unmarried female and male Indian citizens for grant of Short-Service Commission in the following Cadres/ Branches of the Indian Navy: (a) Logistics for Men and Women (b) Air Traffic Control for Men and Women, (c) Education for Men and Women.

Eligibility:
Age:
(a) Logistics and Air Traffic Control Cadres. Unmarried male and female Indian Citizens. Age: between 19 ½ to 25 years.

(b) Education Branch: Unmarried male and female Indian Citizens.
Age: Between 21 to 25.

Eligibility Conditions: Age (a) Air Traffic Controls and Logistics Cadres: 19.1/ 2 to 25 years. (b) Education Branch: 21 to 25 years.

Educational Qualifications: (a) air Traffic Control Cadre: A First Class Science Graduate with Physics and Mathematics or B.Sc. Electronics OR M.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics or B.Sc. Electronics OR M.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics or Electronics securing minimum 55% marks. Height and Weight; (i) Men: Minimum 157 cms with correlated weight. (ii) Women: Minimum 152 cms with correlated weight.

(b) Logistics Cadre: A First Class graduate in any of the following: (i) BCA/ MCA (ii) Economics (iii) Commerce. (c) Education Branch: A Second class Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Physics should have studied Mathematics and Chemistry should have studied Physics, as subsidiary subject at the graduation level.

Physical Standards: (a) Height and Weight: (i) Men: Minimum 157 cms with correlated weight.
(ii) Women: Minimum 148 cms with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight:
(i) Logistics Cadre and Education Branch: 6/36, 6/60, correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses. (ii) Air Traffic Control Cadre: 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blindness.
The applications are to be submitted on plain paper, in the prescribed format, in response to the notification which appears in the Employment News and in some other prominent dailies.
